Borretane Onions in Balsamic Vinegar (2.5kg)

Borretane are mild, sweet Italian pearl onions that are flat and almost saucer like in shape. They are harvested, washed, peeled and quickly blanched before being stored in Balsamic vinegar from Modena.

These delicious onions have a gorgeous sweet sour flavour and are soft in texture. They are perfect as antipasti, in salads and mezze platters. They are a perfect accompaniment to cheese and cured meats.
